Work styling cream or gel into slightly damp hair, then comb it into a side parting and blow-dry it back using a round, bristle brush.
As you smooth the sides back, hold the ends of your hair in one hand at the back of your head - kind of like a very short ponytail. Twist these ends to tighten the hair, then fix into place with a couple of plain grips. Criss-cross the grips over each other for more staying power, then hide them with a diamante or floral grip. |

The blunt, choppy bob is quite different from the normal traditional bob but creates the same appeal with an added touch. A good option for people experienced with bobs who want to try a different variation.
The mid-length cut is almost a bob but the sides are choppy. The choppy ends and the wispy bangs create a hot new look. A choppy bob can draw attention to your skin, eyes and smile and is ideal for those with an oval face with prominent cheekbones that hint at a touch of squareness. The key to a sexy choppy bob is to start with a really great bob haircut. Cut in graduated long layers, and for an updated version of the 20s Bob add soft side-swept bangs. |
