Posh Crop - The Pop!

Posh Crop - The Pop!Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham revealed her short spiky cut at the launch of her debut fashion collection in New York and is a dramatic move away from her trademark bob.

The tousled pixie crop was created by New York celebrity hairdresser Garren. He told a newspaper: "We had to go short and create a new look that embraced Victoria's beauty, great personality and fantastic figure. She has beautiful, playful eyes that stand out now."

The Manhattan stylist added: "It's not a look everyone could get away with - but Victoria wears it well."

No matter what people says about her, Victoria Beckham is setting the hair trends. Following her much copied 'pob', Posh's latest pixie crop will no doubt send hordes of devout followers requesting her hot new look!

The pixie look is suited to younger women and a textured cut is great - gamine and pixie looking, it epitomises bold, fresh and young.

Audrey Hepburn, whose infamous gamine cut from the film Roman Holiday inspired a generation in the 50's.

It's great to see such a dramatic departure and re-invention of her look - this dark, glossy Bourneville brown colour (together with the short layers) make her hair look glossy and gleaming.

Rich, block colour works so well with this cut as it emphasises the texture and movement of the style.

Victoria's look is the latest in a series of dramatic styles over the years which include: the chin-length black bob, a blonde spiky crop and the 'Pob' or Posh bob.

Who knows whether the 'Pop' will catch on? But one thing is certain, it definitely has got fashionistas excited.
